EMT via Barnsley?

Any ideas why all EMT Leeds services were being diverted via Barnsley tonight? The route via Westgate seemed to be open as normal.

It said on the screens at Sheffield that some Leeds services won't be serving Westgate. Could it have been capacity issues and delays due to a Train Failure?
