Vacancy on the website for train manager but it doesn't say what the salary is apart from it being competitive? Any ideas what the salary might be?

I suppose that's fair enough on "intercity"-esque services where more than just one or two high value tickets (or even excesses!) per day could raise Train Managers' commission to silly levels. I can think of certain conductor depots on suburban/commuter routes at other TOCs which pay a couple of grand under £31k basic but do have commission, yet they'd probably get to similar totals.

Hey guys!

I applied for this vacancy (to go in to the "talent pool") and am fortunate enough to have received an invite to the Assessment Centre on March 16th.

Are there any existing EMT employees (or TMs in particular) who could offer some valuable advice?

I've been doing my own research (Thank you Google!) already and feel like I have a good general overview of what to expect..but this will effectively be my first "proper" interview in almost 10 years!! I'm a little bit anxious, but excited at the same time!

If anyone has any useful advice to share, or any insider knowledge (especially from other TMs!) it's be greatly appreciated!
