EMT Train Manager - Holding Pool

Hi, just wondered if anyone had any insider info. I was placed into the Train Manager Holding Pool at the end of the year awaiting a position for the Sheffield depot.

I have been told I will be kept in the holding pool for 12 months before having to re-apply. Just wondered what the likelyhood of actually getting a course within those 12 months is? I have been applying for other TOC’s in the meantime to keep my options open but ideally would like EMT as it’s very local for me.

EMT usually runs a course every 3ish months with the next been in March then in May not sure when after that.

When positions come up they usually drop you an email

Could say you're also interested in Derby/Nottingham depots for a bigger chance of being taken on.

Yeah I did message other day actually to say Derby would also be good for me! Keeping my fingers crossed!
