Are seats 34A and 38A next to each other or opposite in first class on an EMT HST? Or are they in completely different places?

I'm not booking on this service if the seats are in different places because this is what the booking engine is offering me!

Thanks.

They look like aisle seats opposite each other. What service are you getting? Some EMT trains are very lightly loaded in First Class.

19.55 St. Pancras - Derby on a Saturday, getting it because it's the only booked HST through Derby, it's the Leeds service.

If they are opposite each other that's fine. Presumably it's one of the 1x1 tables, rather than the 2x2.

Well I've gone ahead and booked them, hopefully we won't be at opposite ends of the carriage!

They appear to be opposite each other next to the aise in a bay of four.

You can find a seating plan for EMT's HST's here.

Thank you that is very helpful. Might be able to sit next to the window anyway if it's quiet enough.
