EMT recruitment question

Hi

I attended an EMT interview back in mid october, and I have yet to receive word either way.

I phoned a couple of weeks ago and they said letters would be sent out the following week detailing the results.

Nothing yet, does this mean I probably have not got the job, might have got or what?

I could do with a better idea of what to expect.

I'll say what I have said in many other threads. The railway recruitment process is often interminable (unless you apply with Virgin who can be lightening quick when they want to be) and can take several weeks/months before you hear anything back so you just have to try and put it to the back of your mind!

That said, I'm fairly confident you should hear back before the HR department closes down for the Christmas holidays.

I would like to think that is based on some information that I lack even if perhaps would not necessarily be able to tell me if that was the case...
