With all the budget cuts and the wrangling that goes on, I'm half expecting to wake up one morning and hear that the DfT is exploring options on extending the lifetime of pacers and extending them with middle carriages to help with overcrowding :P I have only ever travelled on a pacer once and that was all the way from Manchester Oxford Road to Salford Cresent and I hit my head four times as we went over points (I was standing up, it was rush hour) in under 10 mins, the 185 on the way back in the evening was like a limo pulling up in comparison to the robin reliant we had on the way there in the morning

I wonder if there will be any news about EMT get the Class 150 units or not?.

There is no news whether they will. They are unlikely to get 150's but there is an interesting timetable change being undertaken in East Anglia which may result in strengthening of the EMT fleet. Until the stock changes takes place or the DfT confirms, its all rumours.

Its not until December 2010 anyway and NX have every wish to keep the 156s...

When EMT gets them, will they be repainted into EMT livery?.

I wish they would but most of their 158s havn't yet
