Emt 222

On my way home from Derby I decided to go via Nottingham, I missed my connection and had a 1 hour wait....
I saw the first East Midlands Trains 222

just seen a 222 going south through bedford in the new livery looked like a 444 going by, i think it looks quiet futureistic from the front.

The colours do suit the shape I think. Going take some getting used to for me though as my brain will be telling me its a 444 for ages to come im sure!

Not as bad as I thought it was going to be from the first picture they released of the livery.
Much prefer the MML livery. I don't like the yellow/red front bit. It's just a little weird. They're starting to look a little like Pendos lol

I don't like the blue along the bottom, it looks far brighter than used on the 444s, plus a lot taller. Really spoils it IMO.

Mixed reviews here. It looked awful in the mock-up, but the finished article looks very good I must say.

I agree with me, if the headlamp clusters were like Voyagers then it wouldnt look so stremlined.

Its distinctly average. I very much doubt it will suit the hst sets, if they put white on a powercar I cannot seeing it staying clean at all!
