While waiting for the 321 to Doncaster I saw an EMT liveried 156 leave Leeds station on the line from platform 16. Not sure it was in service but does anyone know where it was going?

13.19 was cancelled due to signalling problems, these 321s really are illusive aren't they!

Refreshments, seat covers , carpets and walls dont count as a refurbishment in my book. Now if they did somthing similar to the 158's they have.....

While it's not as thorough as the work undertaken on the 158s, I think East Midlands Trains have made a good job of the 153/156 fleets. Both were looking very down at heel before the work as under-taken, and the completed units are a marked improvement.

Ill give y0ou its better, Its just the Chapman backs not matching the red seatcloth, the Blue cloth form First class in HST's would have been much smarter, and they seemed to refurb the best conditioned ones first, and the worst ones last.

Unless you want a table to put your coffee down on, of course.
