Being unsuccessful at EMR talent pool , is the 6 months from the date that you are told you are unsucessful or the date you applied or had an interview?

It’s normally from the email/letter date that tells you your unsuccessful.

I was unsuccessful last year for a role with Merseyrail and I was told six months from the date of the interview.
