Emergency works, due to a landslip between Basingstoke and Woking

As reported on BBC South today (evening) and website link provided below.
Emergency works required with 20mph speed restriction in place reducing number of trains between Friday 8th and 10th December. Planned engineering was due to shut the line on Sunday only.
Advice only to travel if essential. Down to 2 tracks instead of 4.

It's not just down to 2 tracks instead of 4, but it's only the 2 up lines that will be open to single line working will be in operation for down trains, hence the severely reduced service.

The lines are open normally until then I believe but with a 20 mph speed restriction ?
