em gauge layout

hi

I have just joined today hoping to find out how i can connect a control pannel to this layout that i bought a week ago. It was made by a guy in doncaster which he made at least 20 years ago and has been to many exhibitions from 1983 to 1987. His step son did not bother with model railways so when his late stepfather had passed away he had to sell the house and with all is stuff so it was put on ebay. Anyway it came with no controls nor switches to control the points which are motorised but i dont no where to start does anyone no any info which would be grateful

It has 4 sockets at the side of layout and has h m points underneath but i dont no what power to give the points and the track?
It was built by a 78 year old man who had built it very well indeed look at item 200688730354 on ebay
