Ely - Bristol and Exter St Davids t oEly

I have to go to Bristol from Ely on Weds 23rd or 30th November.

I have to catch the first train out of Ely (5.30ish)

My return will bne from Exeter St David's, getting back to Ely the same day by 7.00pm.

What is the cheapest ticket I can have, please?

When you say 23rd or 30th are you flexible or don't you know yet?
If the former there are some cheap advances available. The 1357 departure on the 23rd from EXD to ELY costs £28.50 and the 0526 departure from ELY to BRI costs only £40.50, a good deal considering it's in the early morning going via London.

Otherwise, if you want walk-up tickets your best bet would probably be (without splitting) an anytime single from Ely to Bristol Stations £104.50 and a super off peak single route +Taunton from Exeter Stations to Ely for £79.00.

I may have overlooked something, and splitting may help. Also, more info needed as the previous poster said.

I will be travelling with myself - no rail card applies.

Leaving on the 5.26 from Ely to arrive Bristol 9.10am

Leaving Exeter on the 13.57 on same day.
