Just thought id let you guys know that it's the ELR diesel gala this weekend. Plent of different heritage diesels running, plus a 6 car DMU
Hope to see some of you guys there (ill be checking tickets at rawtenstall)

Quite a good weekend it was. Just a shame somebody had to ruin it by jumping off the platform infront of an oncoming train

Thankfully not. They decided to help someone by retrieving lost property off the track, with the train only a few yards away

Was my first pilgrimage to the ELR, excellent lineup and weather. Very easy to get to as well. Can't wait for the next one!
