Hi, can I electrify track that isn't so already without having to put new track down?

Depends what track rule has been used for the track you want to electrify.
Use the track selection tool (top left menu) and then drag it along your desired section of track. The right hand flyout will appear with various track property options, select the one for electrification and see if wires appear.
