Cycling is one of my favourite sports. There are few things more satisfying than riding along the sea front on a sunny day with the wind in my hair and the sound of the sea in my ears. Although when it comes to cycling longer distances on roads shared with cars and other vehicles, the feeling is vastly different. Trying to keep up with the hoards of traffic and not cause a bottle neck makes cycling anywhere of significant distance a stressful chore.
That is where electric bicycles come in. They are great way of getting around more quickly with less energy. I have a few friends who have bought second hand ones for £400 - £700 that have been converted. Although when I have had a go, they feel clunky and cheap compared to the real thing. Any fellow cycle enthusiasts on here? I am interested in hearing your experiences!
The Question
I work for Deliveroo a few days a week on my mountain bike. I am quite fit and can cycle very fast but generally only on the flat. I am looking to buy an electric bicycle to assist with hills. Our part of Kent has a lot of them. Canterbury, Dover and Deal being the worst for steep inclines. Ramsgate is better although less desirable these days because of competition with locals for orders. I have had a look around at the huge variety of bikes on offer and am not sure what I need. Some of my friends do not live near train stations so having a good bike for cycling the last few miles to their doors also be helpful.
On an average shift I could be doing anything up to 30 miles, going all over town. It is fantastic exercise although can be exhausting. To come home without sore legs and aching thighs would be very nice.
I have posted on a few local groups and forums for advice and had mixed responses. Apparently hub motors are not very good for some reason?
Ideally I need something with a large battery and long range. Ideally a bicycle to replace the car, where the train cannot.

Some of the most attractive ones to me are these nice QWIC models, although they do seem a little expensive. Can anyone explain the differences between these models and how they vary? (all links below go to websites)

This one is eye wateringly expensive, for comparison is this bike worth the price of a car?

From the looks of things, a speed pedelec is what I need. Apparently, when travelling at 28mph it is very difficult to make it to 70 miles of range. A recommendation was made for a 1000w Bafan hd motor and a battery 20ah+ such as the on on Andrew's website.
Summary
I am rather overwhelmed with options and need some advice. Would any of the above bikes above be suitable for Deliveroo, whilst also travelling medium length journeys at speed? When out on the road, time is money. I need something that is a sound investment that provides a good level of assistance on both inclines and on the flat.
I am interested to hear peoples thoughts. Please feel free to suggest a bike that you think would be better suited to me than these ones.
