ELC Bus badges

Hello Bus guys and girls,

I am cuurently in the stages of restoring an ELC East Lancs Coachbuilders badge, however I am unsure of the exact colour of the red parts; can anyone help?
if memory serves it was a fiery red? has anyone got an original in decent nick to hand or can recommend a colour of paint?
