According to RailNews she has left.

Got to say despite the bad press she has got, I always found her approachable and friendly to customers and having dealt with her twice, she always has left me feeling she cares.

Sad to see her follow Andrew Haines out the door. Is Mary Grant still boss of UK Rail there now?

A few other 'faces' are no longer elsewhere in First. Andrew Griffiths and Mike Carroll are apparently no longer in the area with FGW.

There are alot of changes going on within First Group at the minute, mainly to reduce costs without impacting on customer service. Mary Grant is still heading up First Group Rail UK. First also announced that around 1750 jobs will be cut within the UK, 1/3 of those from UK Rail.

I don't think so - I heard he had retired. Bear in mind that this is the same Mike Carroll who is now a millionaire thanks to privatisation.

From what ive hear theres been some confrontation between Elaine Holt & Mary Grant

I agree though, Along with Andrew Haines, they were both very good and What Elaine & Co have done to turn Thameslink around from the run down Go Via franchise, and What Andrew's done to Great Western is pure excellence just a pity they both have gone...
