Are the slam-doors events only, or do one or two go out during normal running days?

They are usually out on special events. However, the 09 and EPB occasionaly do normal days.

Standard traction is the 101 DMMU. Slam doors are allowed out once a year, then they go back into the sidings for another coat of green paint.

We use the 101 DMMU on the Halloween Event, as it gives good all round views of the spooky tunnel
