Another rail incident - this time just across la manche...

Ce matin, vers 9H 45, un train a percuté une remorque de gravats coincée sur la voie ferrée, à Auby dans le Nord Pas de Calais. Huit personnes ont été légèrement blessées.

"This morning around 9:45am, a train hit trailer debris stuck on the tracks at Auby in the Nord Pas de Calais. Eight people were slightly injured."

Isn't "remorque de gravats" a trailer for carrying debris/waste/etc rather than "trailer debris" which is probably what it became afterwards.

says the train hit a tractor + trailer which got stuck on the line. The tractor driver tried to warn the train.

Yes, it's visible standing in the background of some of the France 3 TV news shots. I'm not an expert on French units, but it's an EMU, possibly a Z23500 or Z24500.

Its a 24500 or a 26500 (both are the same train, just with more/less coaches)
