Does any one know what network rail are doing at effingham junction at the moment they have dug up the bank just next to the points and seem to be laying a track bed and some track but i can't see why due to possitoning of the new track not being able to connect to any of the main line track so i can't understand the reasoning behind it?

can any one shed some light on this matter for me at all??

Cheers,

Alan

You don’t happen to have the surname Williams?

I put 2+2 together with reading Modern Railways and that monthly column at the back which almost guarantees to raise an issue over Effingham Junction.
