I booked some advanced tickets a a couple of months ago for 2 adults and one child with friends and family railcard.

Sunday March 13th
Depart Haymarket dep. 10:03.
Change at:
Edinburgh arr. 10:07.dep. 10:30.
Arrive:
York, 12:53

Total cost: £26.90.

I now need to travel earlier in the day to arrive by 12.00 latest.

If I go to "amend" I get cheapest as depart 08.39 arrive 11.28. Cost £17.45 + £30 admin = £47.45.

Is there a cheaper way of doing this? The child is 4 so if it helps we don't need to use the railcard. We normally do though because it is cheaper.

Sometimes it is cheaper to write the tickets off and start as a completely new booking as the admin fee with discounted tickets can be more than the new tickets.
