Eddie Stobart has passed away at the age of 95.

Article says he died last month but I have only just seen it reported, mods please move to general discussion or delete/merge/close as appropriate if there is already an existing thread.

Eddie Stobart, the founder of the renowned haulage firm, has died at the age of 95.

The former boss of the Cumbria-based company, recognisable for its green and red fleet of lorries, died on 25 November.

Yes, the company certainly expanded considerably & into multiple sectors during the early 21st century under the leadership of 2 of his son’s etc & for quite a while appeared remarkably successful in doing so.
