When I saw this appear as a VSTP I thought there was a drag on, so i drove over to Temple Hirst Junc, only to discover it was a normal load 91+Stock+DVT

What I don't quite understand is the timings

59 Minutes York to Doncaster !!!!!!!

Normal timing are around 24 Minutes, but I know from experience that i can be done in 19 minutes.

You only have to look at York to Colton Junc

Normally around 4 minutes this took over 10 minutes !!!1

Any Ideas ????

Surely it has to fit around other trains?

Don't know the track layout down there, but has it been looped to fit in between the normal services?

On a train...somewhere!

You'd struggle between York and Doncaster on the Up!

It was an ECS following the cancellation of an Up Class 1 service at York.
The train had encountered a 'Gotcha' activation at Sessay, necessitating it proceed at a significantly reduced speed, pending examination.

I'd assume it went to Doncaster to wait for a suitable slow path to either NL or BN.

Who let Noel Edmonds in?

Has that ever been a service train or has it always been an ECS?
