Anybody know the details of the broken down train between York and Doncaster and the aftermath?

My mun got caugt up on this, was supposed to get the 13:47 Grand Central services from York to London Kings Cross. Got cancelled as the line was blocked.

They then had to squeeze on the 14:01 to London Kings Cross, which even though it was 10 coach train was completely full and standing and had to stand the 3 and half hour journey from York to London Kings Cross because of the diversions via Lincoln and then also Leeds because of the closure between York and Doncaster. Spirits were apparently quite high though.

I think it might have been a Lumo train that broke down, but I could be completely wrong.

It was a Grand Central service which broke down (I forget which one) with a Lumo service stuck behind it.
