Reported in the upcoming September Modern Railways that the defferred May 2022 ECML timetable has been defferred again.

"...yet to determine when the major timetable rewrite on the East Coast will be implemented..."

The article also mentions

"...The May 2023 timetable would take advantage of additional capacity resulting from infrastructure improvements..."

Along with

"...It is understood there is a reluctance from the DfT to fund the additional services although it is hoped that some enhancements will take place..."

So the question I have are...
When will we see an enhanced ECML timetable?
What improvements will we see in the meantime?
Where does this leave to proposed order for additional trains for LNER (up to 10 bimode I think it was)?
