ECML Pendolino Enquiry (March 2012)

Hi all,
I hope this is the right place to ask, as some know the Pendolino (390055) took the endeavour of the ECML during March 2012. I am (to my best of abilities) recreating this on Train Sim Classic;

It was timetabled to form 5T57 Edinburgh to Edge Hill after the tests (screenshots provided below)

To my curiosity it has had me thinking, if the First Class end was facing London on the ECML and crossing over towards Carstairs & Carlisle the FC ends up facing Scotland, did they do something to make sure the FC faced London again for the WCML services, or did 5T57 not run at all and maybe instead went back to Polmadie?

I figure it's a long shot but I wanted to ask anyways.

Maybe they have the option to turn it round in the North West before it's next trip to London or ran the wrong way around, with first class at the rear.

Where did it come from before working Edinburgh to London?
Did it come from Edge Hill? If so see would be correct way on its way back.

Or did it come from Polmadie? If so was the set turned on its way to Edinburgh eg at Carstairs.

The sets positioning would have all been worked out prior to doing the test run.

If it went into Carstairs station, that would reverse it?

Sorry should be more specific, the branch leading to Carstairs, it then goes South from the triangle junction rather than into Carstairs.

It started at Polmadie as 5T56, that mentioned no reversing and from pictures and videos it was First Class leading London when on the ECML trial itself (5Z10/11)
