ECML old style Rovers?

I sometimes read with envy accounts of travelling up and down the ECML, often by enthusiasts seeking Deltic haulage. Alas, I was an aviationist at the time. Is there a modern equivalent to the rover tickets they used to employ? I could happily spend a few days riding non-Azumas, before its too late.

They are not usually cheap any more.
A North East Rover gives a reasonable amount of coverage - Berwick - Retford

I've always used the Freedom of the North East 4 in 8 for ECML haulage, in terms of the ECML itself you can do Berwick to Retford. https://www.nationalrail.co.uk/times_fares/pr41c8ce0a04000400a1e4a874e98bb8.aspx

Thanks for the replies. That gives even more scope than expected, and even includes the (temporary) base, Hartlepool. At about £30 a day thats fine.
