Single line working was in operation via the up line. The last train to North berwick was actually stabled at North berwick overnight to allow repairs to be made after the close of service. Set returned to traffic on the 11:20 from North berwick.

Interesting. I did notice the ECS was cancelled. I guess the crew were taxied?

Crew taxied up last night, then a crew were taxied down this morning. Sets have been stabled there in the past but its not ideal as the set can't get tanked or cleaned especially if someone is sick on the last train, it just sits overnight. It's also open to vandalism, not that it happen often.

North Berwick didn't strike me as a hotspot for copious vomit, nor vandalism, really. Guess that's the naivety of daytime and a not-so-sunny visit to the beach!

It's not really. However the last train is unpredictable vomit wise. A 322 was stabled there years ago and got painted.
