This date on the East Coast Engineering Alterations page brings up a .pdf file showing different train times from those given using the search facility.

I'm booked on the southbound 17.05 from Leeds, is the .pdf file wrong?

It has been known recently for the times to change after bookings have opened. This happened to me last week - the train I was booked on didn't exist in the end!

I've just checked thetrainline and you're right, it doesn't seem to match the East Coast pdf. I suspect this is an error in the database as there is major engineering work taking place on that date.

Have you got an Advance ticket? Or is it flexible? If the latter you would be quicker travelling to Sheffield and then on East Midlands Trains to London. If it's Advance, I'd contact East Coast. They should honour your ticket for another train.

It's an advance Spalding to Burnley (and same-day return). The return advance tickets became available a few weeks after the outward ones did, so I assumed the engineering had been finalised and the tickets released.

All trains going via Lincoln after 13:00 that day. Line is shut between Newark and Grantham. Adds about 90 mins/2 hours to Leeds services as they go down to Newark, then across to Lincoln and down to Peterbrough. The alteration timetable is correct.

It's a few months away yet, will see what's going on a bit closer to the time. Bit bizarre though. Better have that printout with me just in case the TM starts getting difficult :)

I assume it's the same on the 5th, looking at the timetables. Any idea if the trains will make additional stops (Sleaford for Grantham or at Lincoln)?

Never mind. Found it on East Coast site now.
