I have a few days free and would like to see the Class 800s under test on the ECML.

Where can I find any info re the diagrams or timings of the 800s, are they on Real time Trains for example, and if so, where?

Depending where you are going to attempt to see them, searching for Doncaster carr iep depot is a good place to start. Any 5X?? moves are 99.9% certain to be an 800/802.

For example todays workings:-

http://www.realtimetrains.co.uk/sea...17/09/18/0000-2359?stp=WVS&show=all&order=wtt

Started off by working to Darlington, by then looking at Darlington, you can see it worked Darlington to Peterborough, back to Darlington, then back to Doncaster.

Hope that makes sense.

Thanks Crossover.
The timings today were too early for me to get to Donny and unfortunately I'm now tied up with trips to Carlisle, Edinburgh and Newcastle (Thur), with a trip to Whitby and bus to Scarborough (Fri).
I'm "on diversion" from York to Carlisle on Saturday, and in London next week so I've had to put my trip to Donny on hold.
However, with the info from the thread I can now plan a visit to Doncaster - the 800s sound very interesting.
The company I worked for has put the private finance together, so I'm hoping to visit the Assembly Plant at Newton Aycliffe to see the plant and the new units being assembled. I might even get into the cab if I play my cards right!
Thanks for the info.
