I hope to visit the Ecclesbourne Valley Railway next Saturday.

Does anyone know if there are any through ticketting arrangements via Duffield from NR?

Inthink you can at East Midlands Trains stations - certainly Derby (and on the Matlock train - the guard gets commission). I dont know about the others.

It doesnt seem to be advertised anywhere. I'll make some enquiries.

Correct.
But its no great saving,i think if you buy a ticket from Nottm its a £1 Cheaper.
I would rather pay full amount to EVR direct.

Went on Saturday with a couple of mates, one of whom bought a joint ticket at Derby...TO clerk provided a photocopied EVR timetable. EVR TO at Duffield dealt with decanting throng very quickly. Great day out!

Thank you to those above who've replied.

To my great embarrassment, I've just found the answer to my question in the "Ecclesbourne Valley Railway" thread, started earlier in this section!

Ooops.
