Yeah, it will be the ECS from the KGX - HUL service. I have a picture from November from the boards at Doncaster advertising a 21:33 service to Neville Hill TRSMD!

I believe it takes this route for purposes of route knowledge. Certainly nothing unusual anyway

I'm not sure this ECS goes quite so far around the houses under normal circumstances. I think its just via Goole to Doncaster and then straight to Neville Hill via Wakefield Westgate. Of course with the ongoing landslip issues, having other diversionary routes signed seems wise!

Normally runs Hull - (G o o l e) - Doncaster, then usually (Shaftholme) - (Knottingley) - (Methley) - Leeds - Neville Hill if memory serves.

Diverted via Selby at the moment due to the landslip at Stainforth.

Sometimes diverted after Doncaster to run via Adwick and Wakefield Westgate if possessions require.

(EDIT - for some reason every time I try to type G o o l e (without the spaces), it changes automatically to show Google!)

Let me guess you using a phone? try starting to type Goole and select add word and manually type it then you have it in phone and won't correct it

Interestingly, about 95% of the posts on Twitter mentioning Goo-le are actually misspellings of 'Google'! :)

It is not just phones, it seems to be some sort of autocorrect feature on the forum. The word below is supposed to be "G o o l e" but will appear as Google.

Google

Mind you, i could also just be the way we say it - I've always known defunct north london operater with that god awful livery Silverlink as Sliverlink.

Now, Google!

Yep, GOOLE does appear as Google. Now, will Google appear as G-o-o-l-e?

Could those that had an issue check again? I had the same issue but it seems to have fixed itself for me now.

As you can see: Goole.

Yep, we can travel to Goole again now :D (or should that be :(.....:P

I had always assumed these trains run direct via Micklefield, so I have learnt somethign else new today!
Just looked up the morning ECS from Neville Hill for tomorrow (http://www.opentraintimes.com/schedule/Y50183/2013-02-28)
This has also been diverted through Selby since 19 February, but interesting to note that this is 3A12, not 5A12 as one would expect

I guess it may be that the stock is no earlier off depot but has to go a longer route to get to Hull, hence the class 3 reporting code means it gets run as an express ECS and given priority over some other services as a result

The Class 3 (which, in a blatant test of the autocorrect function, is currently *not* running via Goole), (yep, it's worked) is indeed to try to ensure the ECS is given enough of a priority to avoid endangering a right time start to 1A12.

Same with 3B81 to Lincoln.
