Just been drooling over a picture of the new Ebbsfleet station on the Eurostar network in a recent Rail magazine (no.568, p.22) (How i would love to visit Amsterdam via Eurostar and TGV).

However i noticed a tunnel/train shed? in the picture which shows no apparent purpose. Now this is really bugging me, so i thought id ask on here if anyone knows the structure im refering to? If so, could you please tell me what it is?

Im thinking its going to be a bridge linking the two car parks, but im not sure. It looks a bit odd at the moment

Hmm..cant think what you're talking about here. I can seem to find a decent pic of the station, i'll look tomorrow.
Can you describe where this 'thing' was? haha station for the illegals..hahaha hmm..dont think so! pity i didnt buy that magazine that week..am interested now lol

certainly didnt see anything going 185mph past the station last saturday..but that's another story!!

Its for a future shopping mall they plan to build between the car parks. As it would cause distruption to build later, they put the foundations over the tracks now before the railway is operational.
