Not sure where the right place for this is but Inter City Railway Society are arranging a tour of Eastleigh Works on 7 September at which a loco will be named in celebration of 50 years of the Society.

There’s already 99 people booked on so far.

I’ve no affiliation with the Society but thought it an interesting trip and would share. Further details here:


Any ideas / guesses which loco will be named on the day?
