After wanting to try the East Midlands Trains Full English, this weekend I went down to London with a party of 5 on the 0732 Sheffield to St Pancras.
The service was formed of 43 048 and 43 059 which had started at Leeds earlier that morning. As we got on we were greeted by the one train team. As we didn't have breakfast tickets, one of the first class hosts set us up a table answer departed Sheffield.
We were first offered fresh fruit and cereals on departure from Sheffield before they took our orders for breakfast. One of the hosts wished me a happy birthday as my breakfast was served.
As we left the train at London St Pancras the hosts wished me happy birthday once more and told us to have a good day
I was extremely impressed with the quality of the breakfast and the amount that was received. All the hosts were absolutely superb and myself and my family could not have wished for a better start to the day.
I have always wanted to try the breakfast on East Midlands Trains but the times have never suited at the weekend.
For an extra £10 for breakfast I cannot believe the excellent value and service that was given
