Looking to get from Skegness to Grantham on 20/5/13, but the advance tickets don't appear to be out yet - anyone any idea when they will be out and why there might be a delay on them?

Keep checking back - they were late offering some tickets I wanted for 18/5. Eventually got them, at the lowest price, a week or more after you'd expect. No idea why, possibly late notification of engineering works?

Do EMT release advances for Skegness to Grantham? I thought it was only Mml and Liverpool services?

The whole journey is from Skegness to Scarborough, which is coming up at £65, so is the problem elsewhere, as should be able to get that for £20?

Scarborough - Skegness only has Advance fares routed EC & Connectns, so the problem could be with EC's quotas. Unfortunately no one can tell you exactly where the problem lies. They might have sold out (unlikely, I know), or none released for this flow, or EMT barred the connecting part for that day for whatever reason, etc.

OK - thanks. The cheap tickets are appearing for the Monday before - so I'll hold on a few days and hopefully they will appear.

If you are flexible, I doubt that the cheapest tickets will sell out in a few days so it shouldn't hurt to wait for a bit as you are not travelling on the busiest sections of the route. They have only just been released for those dates.

I'm fairly flexible - it has to be on that day, but any time during the day is fine.
