Hi all, does anyone if theres a reciprocal travel arrangement with TL for travelling to work.
Just trying to weigh up all the pros and cons for the job.
Are people generally happy here?
Any other major perks?
Travel card for underground?

Cheers

There is an Agreement with TL, a lot of Pancras staff live in Luton, Bedford, Wellingborough etc and use it.

No Discounted Oyster as far as I know

Hi Class

Yes, as explained by 2L70 there is a reciprocal agreement, but this is only for "Duty Purposes" only, not leisure. I have recently spoke with EM staff and from what i get it is a good company to work for, obviously every TOC as its ups and downs but overall, all good. The other travel perks is that they offer friends & family discounts per year (I think up to 20 times per year) and have reciprocal agreements with LNER. Not sure about PTAC though.

As they are now changing to Abellio this month (18th) you travel benefits will widen to cover a lot of the country. You also get so many first class upgrades per year as well, not sure how many.

Hope this helps

2 on EMT Mainline services
Free Travel on LNER, AGA, WMT, Scotrail and Merseyrail starting this week
So it’s not a bad perk.
