I have just been advised that this ticket is withdrawn from next month.
I have only ever bought one twice, both times on EMT - and the guards seemed unaware of it & found it dificult to find on the ticket machine.
The lack of sales presumably led to its withdrawl - but could this be due to lack of customer awareness?

I expect it has not been used well, and their are other products (albeit multi day) that cover the area too.

I don't think they are particularly good value which might explain why they have been withdrawn.

I've always thought that most of the Rover and Ranger Tickets in the East Midlands Area are highly priced in comparison to similar tickets in other parts of the country.

no, this ticket isn't that good value, besides you can normally get cheaper advanced tickets on EMT

Surely the whole point of a ranger is so you can visit more multiple places in a day! There is no way you could book advanced tickets to do individual stages of a visit. The option now is back to expensive single fares:(.
