Yes it will, 4 trains per day to start, increasing over time.

brill, any idea on when thats due to start? I know the lines not put in yet, also I need to find out how much freight actually uses the line... as Im not sue if 4 more is alot more trains or not much at all....:oops:

There's no guarantee that any trains are going to run, as is the case with most new intermodal terminals.

However given the location of the facility, I think it's safe to say that at least one operator will begin running trains to serve at least one of the major container ports.

It has the potential to also cater for domestic European traffic, although I would suspect that it will some time before any operator begins services to cater for this trade.

I have read that marks and sparks are looking at moving there (they have a big depot down the road from the new house as it has good links to the M1) and they have said they want to use the rail way if poss..

meh for now I think the big issue is finding out how much freight is on there at the mo
