Tommorrow I have the luxury of no enginneering works affecting my journey :D but that means I've got a lot of choice!
  1. East Croydon - Victoria - Oxford Circus - Baker Street - Uxbridge (total time on tube 49 mins)
  2. East Croydon - Victoria - Kings Cross - Uxbridge (total time on tube 59 mins)
  3. East Croydon - Victoria - Hammersmith - Uxbridge (total time on tube 62 mins)

The 1st choice seems the best as I want to stay sitting on the tube for as little as possible. I dont mind the changes.

I've taken most of the routes now and I think spending more time on the tube and less time on the bus is better. So Im going to stick with going on the Metropolitan line Baker Street - Uxbridge (39 mins) then 10 mins on the U4 bus. Even though the Central Line Nottinghill Gate - West Ruislip (29 mins) is faster, the bus will take 22 mins.

The S stock is already in service between Wembley Park and Watford, not always in service though.

The best days to get it in pax service is apparently Thursdays and Fridays.

East Croydon - Victoria - Oxford Circus - Baker Street - Uxbridge

I realise this reply is a little late,it's more just for reference. I do this journey occasionally and usually change to the Jubilee at Green Park to reach Baker Street. Not sure if it's actually any faster.

Victoria to Bakerloo is cross-platform interchange at Oxford Circus. Much easier and quicker than walking down miles of tunnel and up and down steps at Green Park.
