East Croydon To Nottingham.

Hi all.

I'll be travelling tomorrow from Nottingham to East Croydon (Got my one way sorted however the return states)

I'll be leaving St Pancras at 23:15 arriving at East Midlands Parkway at 1:29
1:40 It say's East Midlands Parkway (Bus)

East Midlands Trains have contacted me saying there will be staff at the station who would deal with an issue if the Train was late etc.

Not quite sure myself.

Anybody have any advice?

It's a rail replacement bus on the East Midlands Parkway to Nottingham portion of the return leg of your journey.

The 2315 from St Pancras is due at East Midlands Parkway at 0129 and the bus to Nottingham is due to depart at 0140 and arrive at Nottingham station at 0220.

Given that your journey is the last London-Nottingham journey of the day, the RRB is not going to leave until everyone is off the train and onto the bus: if it did, the train company would end up having to pay for taxis to get everyone to Beeston and Nottingham.

Edit: the bus is going to call at Beeston, Nottingham and Derby. In practice in situations like this, if more than one bus-load of passengers is expected, there may be one or more buses that go fast (to Nottingham in this case) and one or more other buses that call at all stations.

Yes i agree with what everyone has said so far, EMT will just make the bus wait until your train gets in, so no need to worry.
