Bridge was moved into position in stages yesterday and in the early hours of today, with trains running.

I believe it is, at least Southern's latest newsletter say so.

If the subway ramps are properly filled in and the areas properly resurfaced that should improve space on the platforms for waiting passengers.

But as this is the railway they'll probably just be abandoned...

Seems a bit pointless permanently closing the subway ramps, it will remove a lot of capacity for moving between platforms. Also I've noticed a bit of a design flaw with the new footbridge, it has a roof all the way to the bottom of the steps, but no roof beyond there onto the platform (unless this is planned for later), on a rainy day like today I think this will undoubtedly result in many people waiting/sitting on the steps, causing congestion for other users
