Like many, I have received an email titled "A new East Coast is just around the corner". As I live on just about the mid-line of Britain, does this mean that marine erosion is happening quicker than suspected? How can I prepare for this?

You shouldn't joke about it!
Remember that the ECML crosses Holme Fen between Peterborough and Huntingdon, said to be the lowest part of the UK, over 2.5mtr below sea level. . . . . and its still sinking!
