East Coast web only Super Off-Peak Single

I'm finding that the East Coast web only Super Off-Peak Single can be booked by a Permitted route between one of the relevant ECML stations and St Pancras via Sheffield, but not by a Permitted route to or from Liverpool St via Cambridge. I would not expect this from the terms & conditions.

Any suggestions why this is so?

I've been delayed in replying by East Coast failing to offer me any fares at all for several hours, and on the site's return the web only Super Off-Peak Single from, for example, York - London Liverpool St via Cambridge has now appeared. Perhaps it was a temporary web error.

East Coast price all 18 web only Super Off-Peak Singles. The fare is available only between London and Edinburgh, Dunbar, Berwick, Alnmouth, Morpeth, Newcastle, Durham, Darlington, Northallerton, York, Leeds, Wakefield, Doncaster, Retford, Lincoln, Newark North Gate, Grantham or Peterborough in both directions. Travel by any operator, with route “Any Permitted” being shown on the ticket.

Any suggestions why this is so?

I suspect that there is a technical error which their software supplier has been attempting to rectify for a few weeks and may now have suceeded.

They're French. They like long lunches and weekends.

Things take time.
