As you'll be aware, its approaching that time of the year, when engineering work will be taking place between Berwick and Edinburgh, and East Coast will be sending a service (roughly hourly) via Carlisle and the West Coast Main Line.
I managed to bag myself a cheap first class return to Edinburgh taking advantage of the detour on the 11th October.
