My wife applied for a job with East Coast and she's been selected for a 'video interview', can anyone shed any light on what she can expect and what will be the content of the interview. Anyone else had one of these? Any feedback would be appreciated, so she knows what to expect.

Cheers

I can't help with East Coast, but I did recently undergo a video interview for another company (non-transport related). The way it worked was there were 6 competency questions. For each question, you had 1 minute to read it and think of your answer and then you had 2 minutes to answer the question on camera.

I have no idea if the video interview for East Coast will be anything like this, but given I knew nothing about video interviews before I prepared for mine, it might still be useful.

I did the video interview a couple of weeks ago. I had 2 minutes to think of answers, then spoke calmly towards the video camera on my laptop. I must have done okay, because I have been invited for an assessment.
