I have recently started to buy tickets through the East Coast website to bump up my Rewards points (for what they're worth). But I've hit a snag. For a journey this week I want to buy an Anytime Day Return from Huntingdon to Holborn (Zone 1) - a point to point ticket with no additional travel. The only ticket that East Coast offers for peak hour travel is an Anytime Day Travelcard (Zones 1-6) at £48.70 whereas NRE and all other websites (using the same software as EC) offer the correct Anytime Day Return Huntingdon to Holborn at £37-20. Can anybody explain this, please?

No fares exist to 0785 Zone U1* Londn from Huntingdon, however, try to 0790 Zone U12* Londn  Fares do exist for this journey :)

Yes, thank you - that's interesting. The East Coast site will allow Holborn (Tube) as a valid station for which it offers only a Zone 1-6 travelcard but entering Zone 12* instead of the destination station brings up the correct fare. Other sites using the same software as EC don't allow Holborn (Tube) as a valid destination so the problem doesn't occur. Is it just me or is that counter intuitive?
