I've tried to search for this but can't find an answer. Do you still get 100 points for joining the Rewards scheme?

Free wifi really isn't worth it on EC, even when I'm in 1st I end up teathering on 3G. (Partly due to not being able to use unsecured wifi when accessing stuff for work)

As above. No you don't although they do seem to run promotions every so often, and I have a sneaky feeling we may be seeing a 'sale' on rewards tickets soon which is when they tend to give away 50 points which gets you into their lounges.
