Can you confirm that East Coast reward points are only earned on tickets purchase through the East Coast website for travel on East Coast trains?

As I understand it points are earnt on any transaction which exceeds £22, and on transactions made up of East Coast only tickets for any value.

You can earn rewards points on tickets valid for travel on any TOC provided that the value of each coupon is at least (I think) GBP 22, except for East Coast tickets, for which points are awarded no matter how cheap the fare.

Note that Advance tickets are each considered to be one ticket, so two Advance tickets purchased under GBP 21 fares will not earn any reward points even if purchased at the same time.

As IanXC says, it's the transaction, not the ticket which has to be over £22.

I'm not sure if all EC fares are exempt from the £22 minimum. The website states 'some'.

Further clarification:
Points are awarded per transaction. So you could buy a £13 ticket and a £10 ticket in one go and earn points.
'Certain tickets' (unspecified in the T&Cs) earn you points under £22. I think that this is only East Coast Advance fares, but I don't know if it also includes fares routed East Coast only.
Edit -
Simultaneous posting, but will leave it up!

Rewards points are earned on all transactions through the EC website. The £22 starting point seems to be arbitrary, as I have often received points for lesser purchases. I buy all my rail journeys from their site, except when too late to have a delivery method possible (seems to be about a 4 hour cut off, so if I want to buy a ticket in less advance than that it is pay at station). Points are awarded irrespective of the operator, such as for my SouthWest Trains journey, Waterloo to Exeter. Rewards points for other operators are credited after the journey, when for EC journeys they are credited immediately.

Rewards for Advance tickets are credited straight away, whereas ones for walk-on tickets are credited two months and one day after the date of the outward leg.

For a walk-up ticket on the same day, you could simply select a much later departure time than you are actually travelling. ;)

The 4 hour time limit seems to be allowing for potential problems, but in practice I've never had any issues with instant collection.

Thanks, I wondered why some weren't credited straight away and thought it must be other TOC's. Buy very few walk-on tickets anyway!
