Is there still a random mk3 going around in gner livery? Any more mk4 rakes treated or has it come to a seeming halt like nx 321s?

Aye I think I have seen that mk3 going around recently, although I have no idea which one it is.

As far as I'm aware the repainting of the Mk4s is continuing, perhaps not at break neck pace, but still ongoing.

I haven't seen the MK3 around for a while. The MK4's are still being done, I think there is a set at Donny now being put into silver. The MK4's are also going to Donny for other general improvements to interiors to fix broken toilets, chairs etc etc etc and are being painted during this work.

I'm sure May was the deadline for all of this work, but a harsh winter at the start of 2010 and at the end of 2010 has meant there have been numerous other problem to attend to meaning taking a set out to get this work done was almost impossible. Hence the hired in sets from XC & EMT in the last year.

Yeah I live far from East Coast but looking at photos majority of stock is still in 'shabby GNER/Nat Ex stripe with East Coast garish amendment livery'

Well we hear it time and time again, it's not the colour of the train but the service they provide that matters ;)
